PoCo Bowl Club 55+ leagues offer a welcoming place to stay active, meet people and enjoy regular five-pin bowling.
Club 55+ includes bowlers with different skill levels, averages and bowling backgrounds. You do not need to be an experienced bowler to participate.
The 8 Weeks for $80 program allows someone who is new to PoCo Bowl league bowling to experience the first eight scheduled dates of a regular Club 55+ league.
Participants bowl alongside the league's returning bowlers. This is not a separate introductory class.
There is no requirement to continue after the eight weeks.
Choose Your Club 55+ League
The 8 Weeks for $80 program covers the first eight scheduled dates of the selected league. Participants cannot choose a different eight-week period or begin later in the season.
Who Is This Offer For?
The Club 55+ 8 Weeks for $80 introductory offer is for someone who:
- Is age 55 or older
- Has not previously participated in a PoCo Bowl league
- Is available for the first eight scheduled dates of the selected league
- Would like to experience Club 55+ before deciding whether to continue
Recreational bowling, open bowling, parties and casual visits to PoCo Bowl do not make someone ineligible.
Someone who has participated in a league at another bowling centre may still qualify because this offer is for people who are new to PoCo Bowl league bowling.
Returning and former PoCo Bowl league bowlers do not qualify for this introductory offer.
PoCo Bowl will review each registration and confirm eligibility and available space.
What Is Included?
The $80 introductory program includes:
What $80 Covers
- The first eight scheduled dates of one selected Club 55+ league
- Three games during each scheduled league date
- 24 scheduled games in total
- Placement within the regular Club 55+ league
- The option to continue after the eight weeks
- No requirement to continue for the full season
The $80 covers the eight scheduled league dates only.
Not Included
- The $75 seasonal Club 55+ registration fee
- The Christmas event
- The year-end banquet
- Weekly league fees after the eighth scheduled date
- Shirts or merchandise
The $80 is paid as one payment after PoCo Bowl confirms eligibility and available space.
Continue or Finish After Eight Weeks
There is no requirement to continue after the introductory program.
A participant who finishes after the eighth scheduled date will not owe the $75 seasonal registration fee or any additional league fees.
A participant who would like to continue may remain in the selected Club 55+ league, subject to available space. To continue, the bowler will:
- Pay the $75 seasonal Club 55+ registration fee
- Pay $16 for each scheduled league week beginning with the next league date
- Continue paying the $16 league fee week to week
The $75 seasonal registration fee includes the Club 55+ Christmas event and year-end banquet.
The $75 registration fee and future weekly league fees are separate from the original $80 introductory payment.
PoCo Bowl will contact participants before the eighth league date to confirm whether they would like to continue.
How to Register
Choose the preferred Club 55+ league and provide the requested contact and bowling information.
PoCo Bowl will confirm eligibility and whether space is available in the selected league.
Once eligibility and space are confirmed, PoCo Bowl will send a Square invoice for the $80 introductory program. The bowler's place is confirmed once the $80 payment has been received.
